Serengeti Luxury Birthing Safari - Feb 28-Mar 10, 2026

Visit our website

The Serengeti Migration is world famous, when the great herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelles are strung out mile after mile migrating from Tanzania’s Serengeti to the Masai Mara of Kenya from May through July. When the herds return from this circular migration they start the cycle anew from the Short Grass Plains of the Serengeti’s far South. This Birthing Season is from January through March, over 2 million animals from dozens of species, elephants, giraffe, lions, cheetah, gazelle, zebra, wildebeest congregate en-masse. This is their Birthing Season when herds are replenished with new life. You can witness it. Our luxury camp is perfectly positioned, private and quiet with a wonderful staff serving delicious meals, taking on game drives to see the animals and their young.

Arizona Canyon Rafting Adventure - Mar 29-Apr 4, 2026

Visit our website

The Salt River in Arizona is one such serpentine wonder, a brief, miraculous ribbon of spring snowmelt that carves through a wilderness seldom seen and barely believed. A raft trip here is a fast-moving theater of the unexpected. Wild horses—manes tangled with sunlight—wade into the shallows as if to bless your passing. Javelina scuttle in comic procession along the bank. Coatimundi flick their ringed tails like exclamation marks. Coyotes sing from the ridges while raccoons steal the show with masked curiosity. Desert bighorn sheep perch on improbable ledges, sentinels of stone; a bobcat ghosts the underbrush; and if whisper and luck align, the ember-glow eyes of a mountain lion may watch your campsite after dark.

The Pantanal: The Wonder of the Amazon - May 17-26 2026

Comprising the world’s largest tropical wetlands, the Pantanal contains the largest concentration of wildlife and tropical birdlife in the Amazon, in all South America, the entire Western Hemisphere, and possibly the entire world.  Yet its remoteness keeps it unknown to all but the most saavy world travelers.

You’ll visit tribes of Amazon Indians; snorkel in crystal clear lagoons like an aquarium of tropical fish; see parrots, toucans, hyacinth macaws, roseate spoonbills and other birdlife in astounding numbers, giant anteaters, an unbelievable profusion of caiman alligators, and be up close and personal with the Amazon’s iconic yet rarely seen animal, the jaguar. We see them on the banks while we are safely on our boats.

Himalaya Helicopter - Oct 25 - Nov 1, 2026

You get to soar to the highest peaks in the Himalayas on this world-class expedition designed by Jack Wheeler, dubbed the "real life Indiana Jones" by the Wall Street Journal.  It is a thrilling, life-memorable experience. In only one week, our goal is to reach these 8 incredible mountains – Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Makalu, Kanchenjunga, Manaslu, Annapurna, and Dhaulagiri.

Seeing and experiencing these mountains in this way is an ultimate Himalayan experience.   No trekking whatsoever.  Instead we're flying in the AS350 B3, the most advanced, high-altitude helicopters in the world.  The expedition group will be a maximum of 8 members. Each participant will have a private suite. Since 2016, Wheeler Expeditions has led this extraordinary and exclusive expedition, featured in the Robb Report.  It is arguably the greatest adventure that you can have in one-week on the planet today.

From Lisbon, we enjoy the tastes and sights in the capital, learning about the explorers then along the Portuguese Riviera, through Cascais and to the charming historic Sintra where we'll see castles and palaces. Everywhere we go, there's culture, history, and places of interest. Then heading up to the walled city of Obidos and the Silver Coast, you'll discover that this country has it all. Weather that parallels California's and a stunning coastline, finally we arrive in Porto, the home of port wine. We see more on the drive back to Lisbon to celebrate our wonderful experience.
